The H&M group (H&M, COS, Monki, Weekday, Cheap Monday) has launched a new brand:  & Other Stories.  Will visit & Other Stories in couple of weeks. Some serious spring shopping coming up.

My favorite necklace at the moment is the one on top, “Emine Natural Shell Necklace” by Malene Birger, made of shells (lots of small ones, one huge). That was my birthday present in January. I have been wearing it a lot. The other one, “Taninna Handmade Collar Necklace” was ordered today (a present from me to me…), since there’s a -50% sales at by Malene Birger e-store. I really love these big, chunky necklaces. Another brand designing heavy, dashing pieces of jewelry is Marni. But the brand is a bit expensive-ish, even the sales doesn’t really do the trick.

And by the way, what comes to BMB e-store customer service, both online and ofline, it’s brilliant. Plus, the shipping costs are only 6,95e and it takes ca.5 working days to get the order. Very nice.

Kate and Laura Mulleavy (Rodarte) have designed the costumes for the movie Black Swan (Natalie Portman playing the leading role). “‘Black Swan is set to be one of the most stylish films of all time” states The Telegraph. Very much looking forward to see the film.

I keep finding new brands often when reading magazines. Magazines like NY Times, Elle, Financial Times, Vogue, Monocle etc. I get interested, sometimes solely because of the brand name. In this case, “Bitching and Junkfood” somehow made an impression. Next step, Google.

The H&M + Lanvin collection will be launched on November 2nd. In stores on November 23rd. The collection is a well kept secret, there’s absolutely no info, no images anywhere. In case you don’t posses the fortunes that the real Lanvin stuff costs, I warmly recommend to check out this co-op stuff. I will.

Orla Kiely asked director Gia Coppola to present their spring/summer 2011 collection: it became a celebration for London. Paris was celebrated by Dior couple of years back, that particular film was directed by Sofia Coppola. This Coppola-thing was not planned, I swear. Gia Coppola is Sofia Coppola’s niece and Francis Ford Coppola’s granddaughter… Didn’t know that. In my honest opinion, Paris so rules.
